Collected and Contemporary Tunes Arranged in Parts

These tunes have been arranged especially for the Festival Bush Orchestra at the National Folk Festival by David Johnson between 2012 and 2019. 

They are available freely here and may be used with polite acknowledgement. A few tunes have been arranged by colleagues and this is acknowledged on the appropriate tunes. 

The selection includes a range of styles and tempos from airs to jigs and reels. Many have been collected from country social dance musicians by enthusiastic folklore collectors. In the words of CJ Dennis "I dips me lid". 

Select the tune and then the parts required. The code in brackets indicates which parts are included. (FS) denotes the full 4 part score. Experience has shown that for players of the other parts being able to see the first part makes it easier to keep together when playing.
