The Yarralumla Woolshed Hoppers is an informal collection of musicians who occasionally perform for bush dances and Colonial Balls in Canberra. The name derives from the historic Yarralumla Woolshed in the ACT where the group has performed for the Monaro Folk Society's New Year's Eve Bush Dance. The term hop simply means a dance, so hoppers for the musicians and the dancers. Don Richmond, known for the clarity of instructions he gives, is our usual caller.
